Why I built this
I've been a support worker in the NDIS for nearly three years. My housemate is an NDIS participant who had a rough time with dating apps — I watched him deal with it firsthand, and in three years of this work I hadn't come across anything actually built to solve it. Connection isn't optional. It's a basic human need, and nobody seemed to be treating it as one for this community. So I decided to build it myself.

How does verification work?
You submit a photo ID, an NDIS plan, a Centrelink DSP letter, or a Companion Card. A team member or our AI checks that it looks genuine and matches your name — usually within 24 hours — before your profile goes live. This confirms you're a real person, not that you have a disability. This is a document check, not a live check against any government database — we don't have access to one. Submitting a false document gets your account removed.
Do I need to prove I have a disability?
No. You self-identify as part of the NDIS/disability community when you sign up — we take your word for it, no documentation required. The identity check above is about confirming real people, not gatekeeping who belongs here.
Is this for dating, friendship, or both?
Both, equally. You choose what you're looking for when you set up your profile — and you can choose both. Nobody here is a backup option for the other.
Is my verification document kept private?
Yes. We use it only to verify you, then delete it. It's never shown to other users, never stored beyond verification, never sold.
What happens if someone makes me uncomfortable?
Block or report them in one tap. A person on our team reviews every report within 48 hours and takes action if they've broken the rules.
